We keep this short and plain. It explains what data we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Dorevion ("we", "us"), a business operated by Osariemen Gift Abhulimen (sole proprietor, registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission pending) of Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data. It applies to our website at dorevion.com and to our Services, including ReplyBoltGo. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 ("NDPA") and, where they apply to you, other data protection laws.
Questions or requests: hello@dorevion.com. Our data protection contact is Osariemen Gift Abhulimen, Founder (hello@dorevion.com).
2. Our role: controller and processor
The role we play depends on whose data it is:
- Dorevion as controller. For website visitors, people who contact us, and Vendors who create ReplyBoltGo accounts, we decide why and how personal data is used.
- Dorevion as processor. When a Vendor's customer messages the Vendor's bot, the Vendor decides why that conversation is processed, and we process it on the Vendor's behalf to run ReplyBoltGo. The Vendor is the controller of that data. If you are a customer and want to exercise your rights over that data, please contact the business you messaged first; we will help them respond.
3. Data we collect
| Who | Data |
|---|---|
| Website visitors | Basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and referring page. If you email us or use our contact form, your name (if given), email address, chosen topic and the contents of your message. |
| Vendors (account holders) | Business name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), Google account identifier, name and email if you use Google sign-in, Telegram bot token, plan and payment records (amount, date, notes; we do not store card details), and support messages. |
| Vendor content | Business profile, knowledge base entries, product details, prices, images and settings you add. |
| Vendor's customers (as processor) | Messages sent to a Vendor's bot (text, voice notes converted to text, and photos where photo matching is used), Telegram identifiers needed to reply (such as chat ID and display name), and anything the customer chooses to share. We do not ask customers for card numbers or other sensitive payment details. |
| Everyone | Security, error and usage logs needed to keep the Services running safely. |
Customers should avoid sending sensitive personal data (such as health or financial details) in chats with a bot.
4. Why we use data, and our legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis under the NDPA |
|---|---|
| Create and manage accounts; provide ReplyBoltGo; route messages and write AI replies | Performance of a contract with you |
| Send account, security, billing and service notices, and password-reset codes | Contract, and our legitimate interest in running a safe service |
| Keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, fix errors and improve reply quality | Legitimate interests |
| Respond to enquiries and send launch updates you ask for | Your consent or our legitimate interest in answering you; you can withdraw consent at any time |
| Meet legal, tax and regulatory duties and respond to lawful requests | Legal obligation |
We do not sell personal data. We do not use Vendor or customer conversations to advertise to anyone.
5. AI processing
ReplyBoltGo uses an AI provider to write replies. When a customer writes to a bot, we send the conversation context needed for that reply (for example the recent messages and the relevant business information) to the provider and return the answer. We choose providers that give contractual commitments about data handling, and we send only what is needed. AI replies are generated automatically; Vendors can review chats and take over at any time. Where a decision significantly affects someone, a person should be involved.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed to run the Services, with these kinds of recipients:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Render | Application hosting for ReplyBoltGo |
| Netlify | Hosting for this website, and receiving contact-form messages |
| Google (Firebase / Cloud Firestore, Google sign-in) | Database storage and optional sign-in |
| Groq | AI model that generates replies |
| Cloudinary | Storage and delivery of product images |
| Telegram | Delivering messages between customers and bots |
| ImprovMX | Forwarding emails sent to our hello@dorevion.com address to our inbox |
| Resend (our email delivery provider) | Sending emails such as password-reset codes, once this feature is switched on |
| A payment provider | Processing online payments, if and when we introduce them. We will name the provider here before we do. |
We also share data: between a Vendor and their own customers, as the bot needs to work (a Vendor can see the conversations with their customers, and never another Vendor's); with professional advisers, regulators or authorities where the law requires or allows; and with a successor if our business is reorganised or sold, with notice. Providers act on our instructions and must protect the data.
7. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Nigeria. Where we transfer personal data abroad, we do so as the NDPA allows, such as to countries or organisations with adequate protection, under contractual safeguards, or where otherwise permitted.
8. How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is active. After an account is closed we keep data for up to 90 days, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep some of it (for example payment records).
- Chat history: for the period of the Vendor's plan (30 days on Starter, 90 days on Growth and 365 days on Pro), unless the Vendor deletes it sooner.
- Logs and backups: kept for a limited time for security and reliability, then deleted or overwritten.
- Emails to us: kept as long as needed to deal with your request and for our records.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including hashed passwords, access controls, secured bot tokens and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password. If a breach is likely to put people's rights at risk, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and affected people as the NDPA requires.
10. Your rights
Under the NDPA you may have the right to:
- be told how your data is used, and ask for a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete data or restrict how it is used, in the cases the law provides;
- object to processing that relies on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable; and
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects.
To use a right, email hello@dorevion.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and will reply within a reasonable time and in any case within the period the law sets. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC); we would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
11. Cookies and similar tools
Our website uses only what it needs to work. At the date above it does not use advertising cookies. The ReplyBoltGo dashboard may store a sign-in session so you stay logged in. If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
12. Children
Our Services are not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 (or the age of majority where they live) for our own purposes. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it. Vendors must not use ReplyBoltGo in a way that targets children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give notice of important changes, for example by email or in the dashboard.
